Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation would like to invite woman to the woman’s group every Thursday from 10am to 2pm.

The program is for Woman to share their cultural knowledge have a yarn, meet new faces, learn variety of craft activities, socialize, bring in unfinished hobbies. It’s also a place for Woman to relax, feel comfortable & venture out for a few hours each week.

Light lunch provided / Transport is provided if required

Come and hear Jeff Amatto’s story.

Jeff Amatto – Winner 2017 National Indigenous Community Person of the Year, The Dreamtime Awards, 2019 TAFE Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year” and “2019 Wellbeing Community Service Student of the Year.

A proud Wiradjuri man from Wellington NSW, Jeff grew up on Nanima Mission. He co-founded a company called Brothers 4 Recovery, and has travelled 40,000kms around Australia in the last 22 months giving workshops around drugs, alcohol and mental health. Having lived the life of an addict and alcoholic in and out of jail for 16 years, Jeff’s passion is to help people struggling with addiction, mental health and incarceration. Jeff knows what it’s like to live in the struggle and wants people to know there is a good life to be had, but only you can make that change.

We would like to invite the Wodonga Aboriginal Community to attend Aunty Jean’s Health Program information session.

Do you have a chronic illness or at risk of chronic illness?

  • Diabetes
  • Heart disease
  • Kidney disease

Aunty Jean’s Health Program can assist you by

  • Health assessments,
  • Information & education,
  • Gentle exercise
  • Nutritional planning

The program is for ATSI people with or at risk of chronic illness. Please note this program is for ADULTS only.

To be eligible you will need a letter from your Doctor.

Lunch is provided.
