Contact: Family Violence Worker

The Aboriginal Family Violence Program aims to provide support for women, children, and men with addressing the range of issues related to family violence. These services provide support to maintain the safety of you and your family in your own home as far as possible. Support is also provided to assist you in retaining or gaining long-term housing if required.

The Family Violence worker assist with strengthening pathways to mainstream family violence services while working with the Cultural Safety Advisor to achieve changes. The Family Violence worker can support people/families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to family violence and men who use family violence and are at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

The program aims to empower Aboriginal Community to take steps to live free from violence.

This service provides support through case management and planning that is focused on your strengths and aspirations and tailored to suit the needs of yourself and your family.
