Message from the Board of Directors
MAC Accounts
It has come to our attention that there are malicious rumours spreading throughout our community, we as the Board of Directors have been in communication with Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporations’ Relationship Executive Manager at Commbiz, and we have been assured that the process to utilise/transfer any funding from MAC accounts are strict and requires three individual persons’ to authorise a transfer to an external account, and the main authorizer, is MACs independent accounting firm.
Mungabareena is financially secure, and we are NOT insolvency.
AGM
Due to unforeseen circumstances and a complete change in Management and a Financial Accounting Firm, the Board of Directors have been approved an extension to collate all required financial reporting. Once this report has been finalised and submitted, an AGM will soon follow.
All MAC members will be notified by mail, we urge you to contact MAC reception if you’re unsure or have changed your address so that we have your current address on file.
RECRUITMENT
Mungabareena are actively working with an external independent Recruitment agency, some vacancies have already been filled, they are being advertised on several platforms, we encourage you to apply.

There’s no two ways about it: Patricia Klauss and Dylan Louie walk together to ensure no one is left behind.
Colleagues at Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation and fellow students at VACCHO’s registered training organisation Yagilaith Djerring, the pair are determined to upskill to better support their Community.
‘Doing a course with a colleague helps us get motivated. We travel together, cook together, and keep each other going,’ says Trisha.
And Dylan agrees. ‘Doing this course showed me the world is our oyster. If you want to do something, you can do it if you put your mind to it.’
We spoke to Trisha and Dylan about their study experience – and how working together has helped drive their success.
